WPP today inaugurates its latest campus in Brussels, a state-of-the-art creative hub that brings together around 600 people and nine of WPP’s agencies in Belgium. The new inspiring space is designed to foster creativity and collaboration, giving global and Belgian clients access to WPP’s talent in one location.
Nestled next to the Brussels Botanical Garden and Le Botanique cultural centre, the campus serves as a destination within the city, occupying the former IBM headquarters which it shares with The Hoxton hotel. The building’s 22 floors and distinctive architectural elements have been preserved, complemented by a contemporary facade. In line with WPP’s net zero commitments, the structure incorporates reused building materials and circular design.
The entire twelfth floor is dedicated to fostering collaboration, featuring an open-plan area with meeting and event spaces that offer panoramic views of the Botanical Gardens and the city skyline. Additional collaboration and innovation facilities include the TokLab by Ogilvy.SocialLab, launched in 2022 to help brands optimise their TikTok presence, as well as a specialised photography studio and audio recording rooms. WPP agency BDG architecture + design led the design of these internal spaces, reflecting the company’s commitment to nurturing creativity and supporting environmental responsibility within the new campus.
Bringing together agency capabilities and creative talent, the campus promotes an inclusive and diverse culture through various initiatives. It acts as a central focal point for WPP Employee Resource Groups driving diversity, equity and inclusion work in Belgium, highlighting the company’s dedication to being an employer of choice for all and attracting Belgium’s top creative talent.
Mark Read, CEO of WPP, said, “The launch of our new campus in Brussels demonstrates our commitment to fostering even greater creativity, collaboration and innovation for the benefit of our clients. By uniting our talented teams under one roof, we’re creating an environment that nurtures ideas and drives sustainable growth for international and Belgian businesses.”
Gio Canini, Country Manager of WPP in Belgium, added, “We are proud to unveil this state-of-the-art campus, which serves as a creative hub for our agencies and embodies our dedication to sustainability and diversity. With exceptional facilities and talent in the same space, we are confident that this campus will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of advertising and marketing in Belgium and in Europe.”
The WPP Brussels Campus, located at Victoria Tower, Square Victoria Régina 1, 1210 Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, follows the recent launch of WPP campuses in Paris, Manchester, Guangzhou and Toronto.
